If I recall, sugar beets require plowing (not strictly, just reducing the next harvest) after harvest. Maybe that state prevents AI worker from planting, but you can still do that yourself. You can try plowing part of field to see if workers approve that. Or maybe just turn "periodic plowing" setting off. Odd_Ad_9079.

Potatoes are supposed to be great for money, as far profit/acre goes. But: - They make a huge volume, so much more driving to sell. - They require specialized machinery, which covers less area than grain/beans machines and so it takes longer to work the same acreage.
